Tater Guns

ne body got some good ideas on ways to build tater guns. Me and a few buddies built one with a propane tank attached but it didnt work to good. I know all of yall have bulit one at one point of your life and i was j/w what u used.

That's ole school bub. Got to use high pressure compressed air.
Such as CO2 or 160 lbs or more of pressure.
I talk old school ideas, and here is someone actually looking for ideas, of how to do something created in the 70's and 80's. And we got it from those earlier than us.
Oh well never get to old.

yea it will still always be fun though.
we tried to use propane with ours but you have to have the right air/propane mixture to get it to go off at its best. Just wonderin if ne1 had ever tried nething cool with one.

Me and my buddies made one about a year ago, and we still have it..made it out of plastic PVC pipe...used a 4 inch clean out pipe for the expantion chamber, and used an adapter that hooked 4 inch pipe to 2 inch pipe for the barrell...then used plastic end caps on the clean out and drilled a hole in the center of the cap, and then I always unscrewed the back cap, sprayed hair spray in, put the cap on..then take a lighter and make a torch with the hair spry, and hold it up to the hole, then ya go yourself a good tater gun!...you can PM me for exact dirrections, if your into building one...
